The million dollar man get the Tigers over the line.
The Tigers have a recorded their second win for the season and it was a great match. Both teams went goal for goal against each other in the final term before Tom Lynch was able to get his sixth goal for the evening and put the Tigers 7 points ahead.
Late in the final term, young Xavier Duursma had a chance to put Port Adelaide ahead but only managed a point.
The injury-depleted Tigers will cherish this win and still look forward to the return of Houli, Cotchin, Riewoldt and Martin as they look to get their season back on track.
Scott Lucas put it simply as “this is a game Port should not have lost.”
