Perth is on top of the tree after knocking off Adelaide at Traeger Park.
But the Scorchers didn’t have it as easy as they thought they would.
Chasing just 113 for victory, Perth found themselves in trouble at 4-43 before Hilton Cartwright (47*) and Ashton Agar (26*) steadied the ship.
Perth eventually got home with 10 balls to spare.
There was a bit of drama when Peter Siddle thought he had Cartwright caught in the deep, only for a late no-ball call to deny the Strikers a fifth wicket.
Cartwright hit the resultant free hit for six.
