Local footy club’s ground ripped up by rogue cricket team, causing thousands of dollars in damage

A suburban football club in Melbourne’s outer-east could be without its ground after a rogue cricket team allegedly ripped up the surface covering its pitch, causing thousands of dollars in damage.

Local South Croydon cricketer Mitch Burley joined 3AW Afternoons to discuss the frustrating the situation they are currently involved in.

“They seemed very brazen, I just think they didn’t care,” Burley told Tony Moclair.
