Local priest explains why he’s protesting against controversial legislation

A Bacchus Marsh priest has told Tom Elliott he plans on joining a CBD protest on Saturday to oppose proposed pandemic legislation.

Father Marcus Golding from St Bernards Catholic Parish rang 3AW Drive on Friday to voice his concerns.

“The key issue is that all of the authority is based in one man,” he said.

“The beauty of the Westminster system is that authority is shared.”
