Locals upset over ‘massively disruptive’ bike ride

Locals in the Mt Dandenong area are furious.

Several hill roads will be closed due to a bike ride next Sunday, and locals say they weren’t consulted.

Local resident Kim Amsterdam told Nick McCallum the ride will cause ‘massive disruption’.

But the Bicycle Network said the disruption has been over-emphasised.

CEO Craig Richards said there have been letters, signs, meetings, and advertisements to alert residents.
