Lockdown blamed for teenage girls drinking more and sleeping less
Teenage girls are drinking more alcohol and struggling with sleep more than other young Australians, a new study has found.
And, unsurprisingly, the pandemic is to blame.
“I think what it’s really starting to show is that we are seeing ongoing impacts of the pandemic, beyond what was originally contributed to those lockdown periods,” Dr Lauren Gardner told 3AW Drive.
