Lonely Planet reveals top 10 list of must-visit cities in 2025

Travel guide Lonely Planet has just published its top 10 list of cities everyone should visit in 2025.

The list spans a wide range of destinations across the world, including cities in India, Japan and Bulgaria.

Lonely Planet contributor Chris Zeiher told 3AW Breakfast staff submit a long and “horrific” list of must-visit destinations for the coming year. 

“We have to whittle that down to a short list and it goes to a judging panel of travel experts and they judge it on travel criteria”, Zeiher said.
