Acting assistant commissioner of road policing at Victoria Police, Martin O’Brien, joined Neil Mitchell to talk Operation Regal after two people passed away over the weekend.

A woman passed away in Toombon over the weekend after driving off a cliff while a 77-year old woman passed away in Reservoir.

“We’ve seen a number of cases of people off road in High Country over the weekend and prior to that but this one was a tragic result where a woman has driven off the edge of the road of a four wheel track and ended in the embankment and into the creek,” he said.

Press PLAY to hear the breakdown of the driving offences recorded

6500 driving offences were recorded during the four day operation.
