Lord Mayor describes killer driver as a ‘maggot’

The Lord Mayor has described killer driver Puneet Puneet as a “maggot” following his latest bid to escape justice.

Puneet fled to India after admitting to a fatal crash at Southbank.

He was drunk and speeding when he lost control of a car, hitting and killing 19-year-old Dean Hostee in 2008.

Robert Doyle says Puneet’s claim this week that Australia is a racist country is beneath contempt.

“Oh, what a maggot he is,” Councillor Doyle said on 3AW Mornings.

“That is just the scream of the desperate, isn’t it?

“What an appalling piece of work

“Talk about playing the last possible card.”
