The Lord Mayor has broken down on air, admitting he’s struggling in the aftermath of the Bourke Street tragedy.

Robert Doyle told Neil Mitchell he’d get help, if he felt he needed it.

It’s been almost a fortnight since dozens of people were struck, six fatally, by a car in the heart of the CBD.

‘I’m struggling a bit,’ Cr Doyle said at the end of his regular slot on 3AW Mornings.

‘It’s hard.’

If you or someone you know needs help now, call Lifeline on 13 11 14
