Lost Dogs Home push for government intervention as rate of surrendering puppies increases
The Lost Dogs Home is pushing for government intervention after the number of puppies being surrendered to shelters skyrocketed in two years.
Director of external affairs at the Lost Dogs Home, Jill Gustave-Marston, says the cost of living crisis is a big issue.
“People love their pets, but they just can’t afford to get them desexed, unfortunately,” she said.
