Louise Milligan and the ‘misconception’ people may have about the reaction to George Pell’s death

The author of Cardinal: The Rise and Fall of George Pell admits she felt “somewhat numb” upon learning of George Pell’s death.

Louise Milligan told 3AW many people would hold misconceptions about how victims of abuse at the hands of the Catholic Church would react to the news.

“Whatever way you cut, it’s a sombre day,” she said.
