‘Lucky to be alive’: Victim of ‘horror’ Bolte Bridge crash speaks out

A car has been driven the wrong way through the Burnley Tunnel and over the Bolte Bridge, before a head-on crash last night.

The erratic driver, a 51-year-old woman from Rye, was arrested at the scene, and has since been charged and bailed.

“They are so lucky to be alive,” Jacqui Felgate said.

“There could’ve been a multi-fatality last night,” driver Mark said on 3AW Drive.

Eyewitness Josh was also caught up in the chaos last night.
