Luxury car fire sparks traffic snarl on East Link

A car fire on East Link sparked traffic chaos inbound on Wednesday afternoon.

Lou rang 3AW Drive to alert drivers to the incident.

He said there was a BMW on fire on the side of the road.

“There’s a lot of smoke and it looks almost completely burned out now,” Lou said.

The Department of Transport said emergency services quickly arrived on site and traffic was now flowing again.
