A Madonna concert in New Zealand made international headlines for the wrong reasons.

Fans were left checking their watches as the superstar kept them waiting over an hour and a half for her to appear.

Pete Ford told Ross and John she was around 100 minutes late in Auckland last night.

‘She goes on stage when she feels like going on stage,’ he said.

‘People were just left sitting there waiting, folding their arms.’

The delay could have caused trouble for anyone hoping to catch the last train.

Ross, a former lawyer, reckons fans’ contract with the singer has been breached.
