Maggie Beer’s new book ‘Maggie’s Recipe for Life’ combines good food, science and a focus on leading a healthy, balanced life.

Denis Walter was joined by Maggie Beer, one of Australia’s most well-loved food icons, and Professor Ralph Martins in the studio.

The new cookbook, in collaboration with the leading Alzheimer’s researcher, aims to delay the onset of age-related disease.

“Ralph prompted the book, meeting Ralph, and it took some time to come together

“He said ‘I’ll do the science you do the food’ and here we are.”

The book also investigates the benefits of a Mediterranean diet.

“I really believe in it I believe good food is medicine, the Mediterranean diet makes such sense to me,” she said.
