Major ice drug operation intercepted between NSW and Victoria
Drug detectives have arrested two people in relation to an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking between NSW and Victoria.
On Wednesday, Victoria Police intercepted a Toyota Prado traveling on the Hume Highway in Wangaratta, allegedly finding 33 kilograms of methamphetamine, with a multi million dollar street value.
A man and a woman, both residents of Hillsdale, New South Wales, were arrested and charged with trafficking a large commercial quantity of drugs.
