‘Makes me sick’: Hawthorn resident calls out the Premier after performing citizen’s arrest
The resident who performed a dramatic citizen’s arrest in his underwear in Hawthorn this morning has spoken out on 3AW Drive about the chaotic ordeal.
Grant Brown also called out Premier Jacinta Allan, who addressed Mr Brown’s story publicly today, after the perpetrator bragged to Mr Brown about being back out on the streets today.
“It makes me sick, because it’s blatant lies, and we get it constantly, nothing changes,” he said about the Premier.

“You don’t have the time to think twice … you’ve got to protect your family.”
Neighbour of Mr Brown, Matty, also spoke to Jacqui Felgate about what he saw this morning.
“He was just out of control, and the lack of respect for the police was clearly evident,” Matty said on 3AW Drive.
