‘Making people unsafe’: Yarra Mayor reacts to shock Richmond injecting room revelation

Mayor of Yarra, Stephen Jolly, has reacted to a shocking revelation about the North Richmond Injecting Room.

“There’s too many issues down there for the locals to deal with without having those cameras turned off,” Councillor Jolly said on 3AW Breakfast.

“It’s making people unsafe,” he added.

3AW host Shane McInnes then slammed the situation, labelling it a “massive failure”.

And Christine Maynard from the Anti-Safe Injecting Room Campaign had some strong thoughts on the “absolutely appalling” situation.
