Malcolm Turnbull wants us to ditch the credit card.

Banks could be forced to make it harder for Australians to get a credit card under a Turnbull Government plan.

Tom Elliott spoke with the finance guru, Scott Haywood who says it’s not a bad idea.

‘I think it’s a good move, but he’s got to market it properly’

Tom says – ‘But why is it the governments job to tell private individuals what prices they should charge?’.

Scott Haywood told 3AW Drive – ‘I think they’re trying to be responsible to Australians.’

‘We’ve got an over spending problem, the government has as well’.
