Malka Leifer to be jailed for sexually abusing students
The former principal of an ultra-Orthodox Jewish school has been jailed for 15 years for sexually abusing two former students.
Malka Leifer was found guilty of 18 offences against sisters Elly Sapper and Dassi Erlich between 2004 and 2007.
The 56-year-old must serve at least 11 and a half years behind bars before becoming eligible for parole.
Judge Mark Gamble said Leifer exaggerated her mental health problems to delay proceedings and she has shown no remorse.
