Man, 50, left with serious injuries after home invasion in Woori Yallock

RUMOUR CONFIRMED: A 50-year-old man has been allegedly bashed following a home invasion at his home in Woori Yallock on the weekend.

Police say three offenders allegedly broke into a home on Glenwright Avenue just after 9am on January 28.

The man, who lives alone, was left serious injuries and needed 30 stitches to his skull.

A 42-year-old man, a 41-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman are in custody and have been remanded. 

The offenders are alleged to have stolen a number of collectables items from the premises.

They are due to face court later this month.
