Man allegedly clocked at more than 200 kilometres an hour near Bendigo

A man has allegedly been clocked at more than 200km/h near Bendigo.

Police say the 33-year-old Eddington man was travelling more than 100 kilometres over the speed limit on Bendigo-Maryborough Road in Shelbourne just before 11am on Sunday.

His car was impounded and he is expected to be charged on summons.

It’s prompted yet another warning from police about road safety, with four deaths in the past three days on the state’s roads.
