Man and woman arrested after being found in allegedly stolen car with drugs and loaded gun

A man and woman have been arrested after they were found in an allegedly stolen car with a loaded gun and drugs in Melbourne’s north.

Police, with the assistance of the dog squad, managed to intercept the black Ford Sedan at about 2am on Wednesday.

They arrested a 34-year-old Fawkner man and 32-year-old Keilor East woman at Niddrie.

They remain in custody being questioned by police.
