Man and woman charged after allegedly staging Facebook Marketplace scam

A man and woman have been charged after allegedly staging a Facebook Marketplace scam.

Victoria Police Leading Senior Constable, Jody Clayton, says the woman met with a seller of a luxury handbag, before the man assaulted the seller, and stole the bag.

“Police allege the woman and man are known to each other,” she told Ross and Russ.
