Three charged over siege at Boronia

Two women and a man have been charged over a siege which saw heavily armed police surround a unit in Boronia this morning.

A vehicle involved in a violent, early morning road rage incident led police to the address on Boronia Street, where a gun was seized as well as an stolen Holden Commodore linked to a series of crimes over the past month.

A 29-year-old woman from Hampton East, a 31-year-old Boronia woman and a 20-year-old Noble Park man will face a string of charges in court.

A 25-year-old Hampton Park man was released pending further enquires.

While a 25-year-old Dandenong man is still being questioned by police.
