Police have confirmed they’ve arrested a man after committing five aggravated burglaries in two hours on Thursday night.

The incidents occurred between 7:30 and 9:30pm in Fitzroy and Fitzroy North, with police alleging an iPhone, TV and Apple Airpods were all stolen by the 44-year-old man.

The offender was allegedly confronted by several occupants of the premises targeted, but fled before eventually being arrested.
