Man arrested and charged over disappearance of 150 garden gnomes

An alleged serial garden gnome thief has been charged by police.

3AW Drive received a tip-off a few weeks ago after dozens of garden ornaments went missing.

Victoria Police released a statement on Thursday.

Police said they’d arrested a 44-year-old Wimmera man in relation to the theft of 150 ornaments.

They were allegedly pinched from homes in Dimboola, Horsham, Warracknabeal, Nhill, Kaniva and Jerapit.
