Man arrested following alleged armed robbery in Melbourne’s south-east

A man has been arrested after an alleged armed robbery in Berwick yesterday.

The 30-year-old entered a pharmacy on O’Shea Rd with a speargun, baton and knife, damaging shop fittings and stealing medicine before fleeing on foot at around 1:15pm.

He was found at a nearby address on Haverbrack Drive and was taken into custody.

Thankfully no one was injured in the alleged incident.
