A 33-year-old man has been arrested for drug trafficking after police seized up to $2 million worth of methamphetamine among other drugs in Melbourne’s east.

A search warrant was issued for a home on Nandina Street, Forest Hill on Thursday November 23 at around 5:30pm.

Police then found 20kg worth of methamphetamine as well as some cannabis and $20,000 worth of cash.

He was then arrested at the scene and will appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 16 February 2024.
