Man charged over death of woman at Creswick

An 83-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of an elderly woman at Creswick, north of Ballarat.

A 79-year-old woman was found with life-threatening injuries around 10pm on Christmas night.

She was flown to hospital but has since died.

The man, arrested by homicide squad detectives, has been arrested and charged.
