Man blows WAY over the legal blood alcohol limit following hit-run crash in Melbourne’s east

A 37-year-old man has allegedly blown way over the legal blood alcohol limit following a hit-run crash in Mitcham last night.

Police were called to reports a Toyota Hilux had crashed into a parked car on Mitcham Road before being tracked down by an eyewitness.

“I don’t even know how he’s turned the car on being that far over,” Jimmy Bartel said.
