Man charged after allegedly stealing $14,000 worth of beer

Victoria Police have charged a 33-year-old man after he allegedly stole 88 slabs of beer over a period of six months.

Victoria Police media officer Sam Bidey says the man with no fixed address targeted three bottle stores.

“It was the Melbourne bicycle patrol units who’ve managed to catch this man who was roughly stealing two slabs a day,” he told 3AW Breakfast.
