Man charged after police dog injured in Tullamarine smash

Police have charged a man following a collision with a police vehicle in Tullamarine.

A Mercedes-Benz collided with the back of a police car on the Tullamarine Freeway shortly before 11pm on Monday night.

Rocco the German Shepherd was ejected from the vehicle in the incident, but thankfully escaped the collision with non-life-threatening injuries.
