Man charged following bomb threats outside two Melbourne schools

A 45-year-old man has been charged by Port Philip detectives after a bomb hoax outside schools in St Kilda East yesterday afternoon.

Media adviser Katherine McLeod told 3AW Breakfast police had been called to the area after a man had allegedly made threats.

“At this stage, investigators do not believe the incident was religiously or ideologically motivated,” she said.
