Man charged with murder of Joseph Acquaro

A man has been charged with the murder of Joseph Acquaro.

A 69-year-old from Reservoir was arrested in Ringwood on Friday morning following an extensive investigation.

Acquaro, 54, was found dead near the corner of Lygon Street in Brunswick East in the early hours of March 15, 2016.

The 69-year-old man will appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court where investigators will seek to have him remanded in custody.
