Man critical after hit and run collision at Albion

Police are appealing for public assistance following a hit-run collision involving a 37-year-old man at Albion.

The man was found by passersby on Anderson Road around 11.10pm on Saturday. 

The Albion man walking when he was hit by a north-bound sedan.

He was taken to hospital with critical injuries.

The vehicle fled the scene. 

Investigators have identified the sedan as a Toyota Camry, as the result of parts located at the scene.

The vehicle will have sustained damage.
