Man critical after Seaford stabbing, woman stabbed in face at Berwick


A man has suffered life threatening injuries in an alleged stabbing at Seaford this morning.

Police were called to Carter Street in Seaford at around 10am.

They say the circumstances of the incident are unclear and no-one has been arrested.

The alleged victim has upper body injuries and has been taken to the Frankston Hospital in a critical condition.

Police are also hunting a man who stabbed a woman in the face at Berwick, before fleeing in a stolen car.

The stabbing happened just before 10am on Monday, leaving the woman with non-life-threatening facial injuries.

It’s understood the attacker stole a car a short time later.

A police spokeswoman said the pair are believed to be known to each other.
