Man dead after crash in Victoria’s west

A man has died after a crash near Warrnambool.

A white Mitsubushi Triton and grey Toyota Hilux, towing a trailer, collided in Garvoc at about 12.30pm on July 5.

The driver of the Mitsubishi, a 61-year-old Belmont man, sustained life threatening injuries and was airlifted to hospital.

Sadly he has since died.

There have been 164 lives lost on Victoria’s roads so far this year, up from 125 at the same time last year.
