Man dies after being found critically injured on a footpath in Melbourne’s west

A man has been died following reports of a dispute in Melbourne’s west overnight.

The man, believed to be aged in his 20s, was found injured on the nature strip on Emily Street, St Albans.

Police were called to the scene at about 11.45pm and provided first aid before paramedics arrived.

Sadly the man died at the scene.

Homicide detectives are investigating reports an argument was heard in the vicinity of where the man was found.

Three to four men were seen leaving the area towards Margrave Street.

A crime scene has been established, and anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
