Man dies in hospital after hit-run in Melbourne’s north

A man has died in hospital this morning following a hit-run on Moreland Road in Coburg last night.

Victoria Police media adviser Kathryn Muffet told 3AW Breakfast the driver of the vehicle involved in the incident remains outstanding.

“We believe the vehicle involved is a light-coloured small to mid-sized SUV; it’s likely to have damage to the front and passenger side,” she said.
