Man dies, woman in hospital after boat capsizes near Frankston

A man has drowned and a woman is in hospital after their boat capsized off waters near Frankston this morning.

Police believe the man and woman’s boat overturned, with another vessel picking up the pair and taking them to the St Kilda Marina, where emergency services were called just before 10am.

The man died at the scene.

The woman was taken to hospital to receive treatment for hypothermia.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.
