Man fights for life after being hit by car on Bayswater Road, Croydon

A man is fighting for life in hospital after being hit by a car in Melbourne’s outer east.

The incident happened on Bayswater Road at Croydon around 9.30pm on Monday night.

Paramedics treated the man – age in his 40s – for head, pelvic and abdominal injuries.

He was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
