Man found asleep by police behind the wheel of allegedly stolen car

A man has been found asleep behind the wheel of an allegedly stolen car at Rowville.

Police say they also found a number of stolen number plates in the Toyota Corolla on Natalie Close around 1am on Thursday.

The 32-year-old from Cheltenham will face court at Ringwood.
