Man found dead following unit fire at Preston

A man has died in a unit fire in Melbourne’s north.

The blaze broke out in Tyler Street Preston just before 3pm on Friday.

Firefighters found the body of a person inside, after putting the fire out.

The cause of the fire is unknown and will be investigated.
