Man found dead in back of car, raising police suspicion

A man has been found dead in the back of a car after a smash in Melbourne’s north.
Emergency services were called to Bindts Road, Wollert, at about 6am on Friday after a person spotted the crash scene.
A man, who is yet to be identified, was found in the car.
Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and believe a number of occupants may have been in the vehicle and fled the scene.
Police are currently searching the surrounding area and are keen to speak to anyone that may have seen any suspicious activity.
