Man in critical condition after shooting north-east of Melbourne
One man is in a critical condition, while another man is in custody following a shooting in Melbourne’s north-east.
The men, believed to be brothers, got into an altercation in Buxton about 9.15pm last night when one of them was shot.
Police and paramedics were called to the property on the Maroondah Highway.
The 50-year-old, having lost a significant amount of blood, was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
A 49-year-old Buxton man was arrested at the scene and remains in custody.
