Man in hospital after being attacked during a fight in Rosebud West

A man has lost his finger and has had his knee sliced open in a violent brawl in Rosebud West.

A car containing a number of people turned up at a property on Kingfisher Road around 7pm when a dispute broke out between two groups.

Witness Judy said the man came to her front door seeking help while she was at home with her young granddaughter.

‘Bit of a horrific episode last night,’ she told Neil Mitchell.

She spoke to him through the glass door and called Triple Zero, as her daughter arrived home.

The man was flown to hospital.

A car was heard leaving the scene soon after the attack.

Police want to hear from the driver of a dark coloured Commodore which was seen at the incident, as they continue their investigations.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
