Man in hospital after frightening road rage incident in Melbourne’s north

A 46-year-old man is in hospital after a frightening road rage incident in Roxburgh Park last night.

The man was involved in an altercation with a group of motorcyclists after they drove erratically in front of his vehicle on Sydney Road at around 10:30pm.

Police were told the riders assaulted the Donnybrook man when he stopped at an intersection, and caused significant damage to his black Volkswagen Golf sedan.

The group fled, leaving the injured man in his vehicle.
