Man killed after being hit by truck at Coburg

A man has been killed after being hit by a truck at Coburg.

The man, believed to be in his 50s, was struck on the corner of Nicholson Street and Moreland Road just before 7am on Monday.

The tram driver was hit during a shift changeover.

The man was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a critical condition but died shortly after.
